Yes. YWHL is open at this time and will continue to serve our clients as long as we can do so safely. We have moved corporate wellness and coaching services to virtual to reduce the chance of possible exposure to our clients and staff. All in-home physical therapy appointments will follow current policies and recommendations from local, state, and federal government agencies.
In response to the presence of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Florida, YWHL will comply with the most up-to-date policies and recommendations from the local and state Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Dr. Naja will wear appropriate personal protective gear during all in-person appointments. We request that all patients wear a mask during all appointments where social distancing is not an option if the patient is able to wear it without causing physical distress.
As your health partner, your safety is our top priority. If you are in severe respiratory distress, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.
If you have a fever, cough, and other symptoms of respiratory infection, call your primary care physician. They can help direct you on the appropriate care based on your symptoms and medical history (such as recent international travel or exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19). If you are directed to an office, urgent care, or emergency room, please immediately notify the staff of your possible illness upon arrival.
If you have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days or have been exposed to someone with or suspected of having the illness, please contact our office immediately to reschedule any in-person appointments.
